Nifty futures tips : Today, Sensex surged as much as 165 points in early starting trade, led by gains in ITC, ICICI Bank, HDFC, RIL & Tata Motors.
The Nifty50 surged past its critical psychological level of 8,150, supported by gains in pharma, banks, capital goods, metal, & realty stocks.

The shares of IVRCLBSE 12.14 % jumped over 10 per-cent while that of Polaris Consulting elevated over 5 per-cent. Tata MotorsBSE 4.23 % was up 3 per-cent while LIC Housing Finance gained a per-cent ahead of earnings
Today, mostly other Asian markets traded positive. Japan's Nikkei rose 0.8 per-cent while South Korea's Kospi went up by a per-cent. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was up 1.6 per-cent. China's Shanghai Composite was trading higher by 0.8 per-cent.
