Nifty futures tips : Today, the market has opened flat with a negative bias inspite of positive global cues. The Sensex went down 24.98 pts to 26985.16 while the Nifty fell 6.40 points to 8173.10. Around 528 shares are ahead, 174 shares down & 34 shares are unchanged on the BSE.

Bharti Airtel, Coal India, Axis Bank, ITC, Idea Cellular, HUL and Bank of Baroda were early losers. Tata Motors, Hindalco, Vedanta, Wipro, NTPC and BPCL gained strength.
Today, the Indian rupee(INR) has unlocked marginally lower by 5 paise at 64.87 per dollar in against with the previous day's closing value of 64.82 yesterday.
