The Nifty 50 was seen at 7,853, down 3.1 pts or 0.04 per cent. It touched
a high of 7,872.25 and a low of 7,850.85 in the early 30 minutes of
trading.
The 30-share index was trading at 25,856, went down by 12 pts or 0.05 per-cent. It reached a high of 25,958.04 and a low of 25,846.73 in morning trade.
The S&P BSE Midcap Index went up 0.37 % and BSE S&P Smallcap Index was trading 0.51 per-cent higher.
Top most sensex gainers includes - Bajaj Auto (up 1.4 per-cent), Dr Reddy's Laboratories (up 1.06 per-cent), BHEL (up 0.82 per cent), and Bharti Airtel (up 0.73 per cent). While the loosers were - Vedanta (down 1.8 per cent), Hindalco (down 1.6 %), Gail India (down 1.09 per-cent), ICICI Bank (down 1.04 per cent), and ITC (down 0.51 per cent).
