Nifty futures tips , Sensex today : The 30-share index was trading at 26,890, went down 15 pts or 0.05 per-cent. It reached a high of 26,893.08 & a low of 26,828.66 in early morning trade.
The Nifty was at 8,143.40, went down 4 pts or 0.03 per-cent. It touched a high of 8,150.00 & a low of 8,120.70 in the first 30 minutes of trade.

The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.25 per-cent & BSE S&P Smallcap Index edged higher by 0.29 per-cent.
BHEL (up 1.2 per-cent), Bajaj Auto (up 0.54 per-cent), SBI (up 0.45 per-cent) & Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.44 per-cent) were among the top major Sensex gainers.
Hindalco Industries (down 4 per-cent), Vedanta (down 2.2 per-cent), Tata Steel (down 1.5-per cent), and Infosys (down 1.3 per cent), were among the major Sensex losers.
