Futures Tips - On Thursday, S&P BSE Sensex started on a
careful note led by losses in ICICI Bank, ITC, HUL, Tata Steel and
ONGC.The 50-share Nifty index twisted choppy, weighed down by losses
in metal, FMCG and banks stocks.KPIT Technologies overflow over 7 per
cent post Q1 results.
Cairn India went up over 9 %, while CEAT and
Muthoot Finance were up over 5 % each in trade. Tata Steel felt down
3 % in intraday trade.In the meantime, Chairman of State Bank of
India i.e; Arundhati Bhattacharya, rang the opening bell on the
Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The SBI chief in an exclusive
interview to ET Now said that she doesn't expect RBI to cut rates
immediately. she said that, Rate cut by RBI is not a pre-condition
for economic revival. Issue of lowering borrowing rates for banks
continues to hold.
