Bank nifty futures tops 7,800 5 Jan, 2016

Bank nifty futures tips & updates for today, the S&P BSE Sensex surged more than 100 pts in morning trade, led by gains in HDFC, ICICI Bank,Tata Motors,  L&T, Sun Pharma, and RIL.

The Nifty-50 regains its critical level of 7,800 supported by gains in realty, power, oil & gas, capital goods, & metal stocks.

Shares of SITI Cable surged over 9 per-cent in trade after RBI raised FII investment limit for the organization to 49 per-cent. Texmaco Rail Shares, too, gained about 6 per-cent.

Nifty jumped 40.30 points today 28 Dec, 2015

The Sensex jumped 140.23 points or 0.54 per-cent to 25978.94 while the Nifty jumped 40.30 points or 0.51 per-cent to 7901.35. Around 489 shares declined, 1327 shares have advanced and 118 shares are same on the BSE in morning.

Shares of SMS Pharmaceuticals elevated 11.8 per-cent intraday on getting permission from the US health regulator for one its unit in AP(Andhra Pradesh).

SMS has received permission from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for manufacturing facility (unit 7) located at Kandivalasa village, Pusapatirega Mandal, Vizianagaram distict, Andhra Pradesh," said by the Telangana-based pharma company in its filing. The US(United States) health regulator had conducted inspection of this plant in 3rd week of April.

Stock market : Bajaj Finance have had yet another rollicking year

Bajaj Finserv and its listed subsidiary Bajaj Finance have had yet another rollicking year, both in terms of business and share price performance, and MD Sanjiv Bajaj said that he plans to do the same thing he's done for years in 2016 too.

Approx last seven-eight years, we've followed a consistent technique of being a diversified consumer lender. This doesn't change going into next year," Bajaj told in an interview, even as that gives little away in explaining the companies' robust performance over the session.

At an instance, Bajaj FinServ shares, which accumulates the insurance vertical, have lifted up about 50 per-cent over the last year while Bajaj Finance is up about 78 per-cent over the same period.

This was a follow-up from superlative performances in previous years, with both stocks being multibaggers. Talking about Bajaj Finance, the MD told the company is targeting growth of around 20-25 per-cent annualized over the up coming few years.

Futures & options updates : Nifty50 has strong support at 7,500 14 Dec, 2015

 

The Nifty-50 broke below its critical support level of 7,600 in Monday's trade, fuelling concerns of further downside in the market advanced of the outcome of US Federal Reserve's rate-setting meeting on Wednesday.

Going through Options data, Nifty futures should be able to find support near 7,500 level, where Put open interest (OI) is maximum at 62.81 lakh contracts. On the up-side, it will be difficult for the index to break above 8,000, which has a concentration of 69 lakh Call OI.

Nifty Dec, 2015 futures ended at 7,627.90 on Friday previous week at a premium of 17.45 pts over spot ending of 7,610.45. It saw addition of 0.57 million contracts, taking the total outstanding open interest (OI) to 19.44 million.

The market witnessed selling pressure at the time of week gone by amid rising concerns over a US Fed rate strike, local growth worries and a crash in world wide commodities prices.

Options tips & updates : Fund houses have announced a host of new offerings which are combined form of equity funds, tax-saving schemes & hybrid funds.At a particular instance, Axis Mutual Fund has launched 'Axis Children's Gift Fund', a hybrid fund that helps investors prepare to meet essential goals such as education/marriage of their children. Investments in the scheme can be made only in the name of a minor who is lesser than 18 years.

In the mean time, Tata Mutual Fund has declared five new fund offerings (NFOs) and a new series of an existing fund under 'Own a Piece of India' theme.

Nifty futures tips : Reliance Power climbs over 3 % Tata Motors climbs 4%, Vedanta 2% 4 Nov, 2015

Nifty futures tips : Tata Motors was trading 4.36 per-cent higher at 398.70. While the Vedanta, Dr Reddy's Labs & Hindalco added 1.73 per-cent, 1.08% & 1.22 per-cent respectively.

On the other side, GAIL and Maruti Suzuki fell down 1.72 per-cent & 0.37 per-cent, respectively.

The BSE realty index jumped 1.23 per-cent; BSE auto index gained 1.27 per-cent, while BSE metal index added 1 per-cent.

Sensex slides 100 pts, Nifty option tips, Nifty below 8,050 2 Nov, 2015

Nifty option tips for today : The S&P BSE Sensex slided over by 100 pts after resuming trading post a technical glidge tracking muted trends seen in other Asian markets.

The Nifty50 started on a cautious note & was trading under the critical support level of 8,050. The broader market mirrored the weakness seen in the benchmarks as the BSE midcap index was down 0.3 per-cent while the BSE smallcap index traded lower by 0.25 per-cent.

  

The sentiment on the Street remained weak as 6 of the ten BSE stocks traded in the red lines. Looking at the sectoral indices, the BSE Healthcare index saw the biggest fell down, slumping 1.2 per-cent led by heavy losses in Opto Circuits and Hikal.

The shares of automakers surged up to 3 per-cent in early morning trade after October month sales data indicated strong requirement appetite among consumers for automobiles.

Stock option outlook : October F&O expiry today 29 Oct, 2015

Today's Stock option tips :  The Nifty50 is trading in a narrow range in the past few days with a negative bias, but come the November series we may see some frantic rollover activity as lot sizes for most of the stocks as well as indices are going to change.

The value of minimum derivative contract size will increase to 5 lakh from Rs 2 lakh when the October series expires on today. The NSE has tripled the lot sizes of Nifty futures to 75 from 25, resulting in a spike in margin requirements by nearly three times, reports said.

The 8k Put option & 8,300 Call option have accumulated maximum open interest indicating the possible range within which the October series could expire on today.

Nifty futures tips - The S&P BSE Sensex started on a cautious note on today ahead of October series F&O expiry due today. The drop down in the index was led by losses in ITC, HDFC Bank, TCS, Sun Pharma and Infosys. The Nifty50 also started weak but was trading around its critical psychological level of 8150, led by losses in FMCG, IT, oil, gas, Banks and power stocks.

The shares of Raymond declined over 3 per-cent after the company reported a fall of 86 per-cent in its Q2 net profits.

Today, INR(Rupee) slided by 23 paise to 65.15 in morning trade after the US Fed Reserve's commentray heightened estimations of a rate hike in its December month policy review meet.

The domestic currency had regained 4 paise to close at 64.93 per dollar on fag-end selling of the American currency by banks & exporters amid lower greenback overseas.

Nifty futures tips : Sensex weak; Nifty opens below 8200 28 Oct, 2015

Today's Nifty futures tips & updates - The market once again unlocked in negative terrian dragged majorly by banks. The Sensex went down 137.67 pts or 0.5 per-cent at 27115.77 while the Nifty slips with 47.35 points or 0.6 per-cent at 8185.55. Nearly 286 shares are ahead, 197 shares went down, and 40 shares are same. 

Axis Bank went down 7 per-cent while Vedanta, Lupin, ICICI Bank and ONGC are major losers in the Sensex. Gainers include GAIL, Maruti, Hindalco, SBI and HDFC. The Indian rupee started lower. 

It has slided 10 paise at 65.07 per dollar versus 64.97 yesterday. Pramit Brahmbhatt told that, "We hoped that the INR(rupee) depreciate today. We see the range for the rupee between 64.60-65.40/dollar.

Bank nifty futures tips & updates for 27 Oct, 2015

Today's Bank nifty futures tips & updates are - market is still under pressure with the Sensex falling down 86.42 pts to 27275.54 while the Nifty declining 25.95 pts to 8234.60. HDFC continued downwards, losing another 2.4 per-cent after net interest income missed analysts' expectation in Sep Q(quarter). 

Lupin & Vedanta lost 1.5-2 per-cent ahead of Q2(second quarter) earnings, which are estimated to be subdued. Maruti Suzuki will also announce its earnings; stock gained nearly 1 percent as analysts expect company to report strong set of numbers in the quarter gone by. 

ONGC, Coal India, Tata Steel and Hindalco declined 1-2 percent while L&T, M&M, Sun Pharma and Bajaj Auto gained more than 0.5 per-cent. The market breadth was negative as about 903 shares went down against 829 advancing shares on the BSE. The broader markets continued to be flat.

Nifty futures tips : The market has unlocked marginally higher on starting of the week. The Sensex went high 79.13 pts to 27293.73 while the Nifty advanced 15.20 pts to 8253.35, led by Reliance Industries. 

 Reliance Industries rallied 4 per-cent after better than-expected earnings in the Q(quarter) ended September 2015. Infosys, Hindalco, Wipro, Sun Pharma, SBI, Vedanta and Lupin were other gainers in early trade.

However, Tata Motors, Dr Reddy's Labs, HCL Tech, ITC, M&M, GAIL & ONGC dropped down. The INR(Indian rupee) unlocked with a marginal gains of 4 paise at 64.77 per dollar against last week Friday's closing value of 64.81 a dollar.
