Free nifty futures tips & updates : Bets on Bank Nifty, which has recovered from its year-low over the last 2 weeks, are yielding massive returns as bulls & bears wrestle to accumulate sway in banking counters ahead of the Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy on tuesday this week.
Premium values of select Bank Nifty options have bounced almost 10 times in the last two days suggesting heightened unstability over the upcoming days. On yesterday, the 17000 September call rose almost 10 times from a low of Rs 35 to a high ofRs 339. A day earlier, the 17000 put, rose from a low of Rs 16 to a high of Rs 148. That's a one is to around 10 risk-reward ratio in a single trading session.
Such is the unstability and estimations of jump in volatility that some clients are purchasing at-the-money straddles in Bank Nifty ahead of Tuesday's RBI meet, expert & analyst Bhavin Desai said.
