Nifty futures tips - The 30-share index was trading at 26296, down 96 pts or 0.37 %. It reached a high of 26,469.42 and a low of 26,245.09 in trade today.
The Nifty went down at 7966, 35 pts or 0.4 per-cent. It touched a high of 8009.25 and a low of 7961.05 in trade today.
The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.04 per-cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index edged lower by 0.08%.
Stocks which went up are -
Sun Pharma went(up 1.6 per-cent), Hindalco (up 0.67 per-cent), Cipla (up 0.57 per-cent), Wipro (up 0.36 per cent), and ONGC (up 0.33 per-cent) were among the major Sensex gainers.
Stocks which are down today -
Vedanta (down 2.3 per cent), BHEL (down 2.09 per-cent), Bajaj Auto (down 1.4 per-cent), and HDFC (down 1.4 per-cent) were the major index losers.
